Child-Led Sessions focus on the memories you are creating as a family and preserving this capsule of childhood. Whether it’s laughing at dad’s jokes, snuggling with mom, kids playing together, it’s about those little things that go by way too quickly.

What to expect:
Lots of play and moments for connection as a family and individually with each child
Don’t be afraid to get dirty
We will focus more on your joyful interactions than specific posing
Go with the flow
As the parent, how can you make these sessions fun
Follow your child’s lead, let them feel free to explore and express themselves
Prepare your child for this to be a fun experience. They take a lot of their cues form you and if you’re excited, they will be more likely to be as well.
Trust me! Even if it feels like the session isn’t going how you pictured, I am still getting those precious photos of your kids little smiles, those moments of play, or hugging you.
How to Prepare for your session:
Choose clothing that you’re not afraid to get dirty and that you can move in. You want to feel free to run around with your kids, sit in the grass, play games, ect.
Choose a time of day that your child will be in the best mood and a location they are excited about.
Pack any snacks or toys that make your child comfortable. Getting photos of them with their favorite stuffed animal is a great memory.
Include activities your child loves! If they love playing with bubbles, bring along a bubble wand. If they love to fish, bring along some fishing poles and choose a favorite fishing hole. If they are having fun, it will make the whole experience fun.
It’s ok to take breaks or change up plans during your session. If instead of running around and exploring your child just wants to cuddle that is totally fine!
