Woodsy Childhood Whimsy

As someone who grew up in a rural country community, much of my childhood was spent outside playing in the dirt and among the trees. I remember weekends spent playing pretend games and wherever our imagination took us with my cousin in my grandma’s woods while our parents cut wood. A child’s imagination in the natural world is full of whimsy and wonder, every rock is a treasure and every corner a whole new world.
