Rustic Grain Loft Wedding | Krystal & John

Rustic Grain Loft Wedding | Krystal & John

Krystal and John (and their dog Mason) are some of nicest, most fun people to be around. Exploring Devil’s Lake for their engagement session back in 2018 was full of laughs, cute dog moments, and so much fun and I knew their wedding would be filled with much of the same. When COVID first started shutting things down in early 2020, their wedding was another thing that got rescheduled to 2021 as they wanted to fully enjoy the day with family and friends.

John got to relax with his groomsmen and ushers in a cute little cabin on the grounds of the Grain Loft while Krystal and the ladies got ready in an upper room at the main building. It was so sweet to see John’s mom help Krystal with her dress and Krystal’s brothers joke around with John.

When the time came for the ceremony to start, John walked his mother to her seat before making his way to the ceremony arch to wait for his bride. Walking with her brother, Krystal immediately smiled when she saw John. Throughout their ceremony their officiant McKenna shared little stories of John and Krystal’s first date that had them and their guests laughing and smiling. Before exchanging vows, Krystal and John let go memorial balloons with letters to some of their most beloved guests who were there in spirit, Krystal’s grandpa and John’s father. Not a dry eye in the house, it was a touching moment to remember the men that were a big part of making them into the people they are today.

All in all, it was the best day for the most amazing people and I’m so honored to be a part of it.
