2020 Review
2020 was the year of adapting and I’m so proud of all of my couples for rolling with the punches of the year and still finding a way to celebrate the important things.
Brooke and Chris originally planned a state park wedding, but opted for small get together with family at their new home. While they wanted to get married in the backyard, bad weather rolled in and instead they cozied up their living room and said I do there.
Nick and Michelle downsized their large wedding for a more intimate gathering on his family’s farm. They still got to be present with those who got to celebrate with them in person and celebrate something they both had been waiting forever for.
Scott and Hilary moved their ceremony to his parent’s backyard to better accommodate their guests and still have the gorgeous outdoor wedding of their dreams.
Michelle and Matt bought their new home with dreams of gathering friends and family in their backyard for their intimate wedding.
Kayla and John got to show off their hard work on their house and share it with friends and family at their intimate backyard wedding.
Brittney and Cam were still full of smiles even though most of Cam’s family had to watch their wedding online due to contact with COVID.
Emily and Ian had originally planned to have a small elopement early in the year, but chose to postpone to October. They downsized to simply family and a close friend and enjoyed celebrating in the autumn of Madeline Island.
Laura and Brock still got to enjoy their gorgeous venue in Wisconsin Dells with a reduced guest list while still interacting with family and friends that couldn’t be there in person through video calls.
All in 2020 was a wild ride, but it was still filled with kindness, love, and moments to never forget.
